The no-fee model airshow event which is held in early September every year that used to be sponsored by the Kettle River Model Flyers.
Since 2004 HG/PG pilots participated in the model airshow held at the Hansinger's farm in mid-July and Mid September.
Good fun and great people, camping and food/drink available right at the LZ, and a nice little beach/swimming hole just up the road.
They love having us there, adding more entertainment value for the spectators.
They'll have to clear the airspace and LZ when one of us lands.
If you plan to fly the site at other times other than an event where you'll be there anyway, be sure to stop in at Hansinger's before going up to launch.
Be courteous to these wonderful people (you might be lucky enough to be offered some of Faye's fabulous pie and drinks!) so they'll continue to enjoy having us land at their field.
