The Remembrance Day Fly-In is an annual event that occurs on the best weather forecast day - either Nov 11th or the best Saturday or Sunday.
It is hosted alternatively by the Lumby Air Force and OSA (The Okanagan Soaring Association.)
Pilots meet at the King Eddie LZ at 10 AM and then select the launch site for the day. A follow up dinner is held at Uncle Dave's Pizza, half a Km north of Kalamalka Lake at #100 Kal Lake Road 250-558-4228 (In the Plaza on the west side of the road.)
- Noting dinner and drinks would likely move to the Blue Ox Pub if we fly Coopers etc.
